Selling Christmas trees in Harlem!

Well after spending my summer painting houses and a few months after working in an institution where they tested drugs on animals, I decided to drop everything, and make my way to Harlem to sell Christmas trees for a month. There's not much I can say about that. I really couldn't put this experience into words. All I can say is that it was probably one of the weirdest things I've done. And even though it was 15 hours of work a day 7 days a week, it was probably also one of the coolest things I've done. It wasn't always easy but definitely good times with good people, I'd do it again.
Some of the highlights, just to name a few, included:
-A Crackhead who claimed to be pregnant peeing on the floor infront of me
-Being woken up at 2 am by Max because of mass green flames across the street and explosions. Then being evacuated from my trailer because of the danger of exploding manholes near by
-Weird diseases from unexplained sources
-Being electrocuted everytime I tried to go into my trailer
-and of course watching my mouse/worm/mold infested trailer being hauled away to the dump
So after spending about 2 weeks de-toxing and recovering from New York, I think I'm almost back to myself. I've booked my ticket to Thailand today where I'll spend a week and a bit catching up with Derek, meeting up with Joan, buying some cheap clothes and eating good, good Thai food mmmmmmmmmmmm. Then I'll be off to Australia with Joan, where I'll start my year long campervan around Australia adventure!
This is where I keep my pictures of my Christmas tree in Harlem experience:
